Top Cuomo assistant Melissa DeRosa contacted the White House in January to attempt to score then-Lt. Gov. Hochul a strategic presenting on her hereditary country of Ireland or to Canada, sources said.
The U.S. Government office to Canada is situated in Ottawa, which is not exactly a six-hour drive from Hochul’s old neighborhood of Buffalo.
